What to do with a Valjoux 7734?

So I was bidding on a vintage chronograph on the bay. I thought it might be a Valjoux 23. I got it for a really good price but it turns out to be a Valjoux 7734. What would be a good project for thsi movement?

Ok what are my options on that beast? Is J&W the only one that has the case? Is there a cheaper option?

You could try Yuki... I think their prices are a bit more in line with reason. The only downside to this project is that procurring a good dial is going to be 1) Near impossible to find and 2) damn expensive! But this would make for a sweet watch!!

Are the yuki dials not the real good?

The yuki dials aren't great, per se, but they're really the only option out there that I've seen (yuki's are the same as phong's). The biggest detail issue is the spacing between the outer chapter and the hour indicies. Regardless, it's decent enough to use for a project if you don't mind the slight flaws... Obtaining a gen dial is likely to be near impossible to find and if/when it does turn up, rest assured it will be very, very pricey (remember, the gen is a $25k watch, and quite rare ).

I've looked at doing this very watch a few times myself. I will get around to it sometime... When I'm not sidetracked by other projects
