pbe2410@wanadooadsl.net
Some pics of my Survivor recently arrived from King Of course yu can think it isn´t your cup of tea but on the hand, consstrucction, material quality and overall sensation made me feel really happy of ordering it The big issue concerned me was pusher protectors, I asked several time to King before ordering and she convinced me they wuld work, and really they do, tight with no crappy feeling. It is said it is the same mechanism that in the gen, noot sure about but probably is, it is the configuration of the protector what makes it work Caseback is really nice and well done NO lume, well to be honest a real poor lume but I can live with it nd diddn´t expect enything better. Rubber strap could probabñy be better This is not a review but my sensations with the wath, It is a radical one, you can like it or not but the piece is one of the better reps out there at the moment Thanks for viewing!! lanikai
Thanks Pete for taking the time to post this and congrats on your Survivor it is a macho looking piece for a watch.. Hows the weight and do the pusher protectors conflict with the position you wear it on your wrist?? like some Grahams have the pushers on the left side of the watch for practical reasons.. does the Survivor need to be worn on the right hand for comfort?? again thanks for you view on the watch.. the insight really helps.. pbe2410@wanadooadsl.net
Hi Lani Thans for your kind words That is what I thought, Survivor is a right hand watch but not at all, for me at least is a wery comfortable watch on my left hand, no problems with pushers

DuDro
Great photos! How about some wrist shots? I'm still on the fence about adding a AP chrono to my collection...
eunomians
I'm on the fence with this one. I love the watch, but the pusher guards are over the top. I still might get this one due to the fact that it's supposedly made very well.
jchurch
Are these all marked 0039/1000?
MADRED7
What a shame...the only AP ROO I cannot warm my heart for. Anyway, thanks for posting it and enjoy the watch. Theo BTW....the gen SURVIVOR rubber-strap is said to be the most comfortable rubber strap AP ever did, many collectors order the Survivor-rubber aand put it on their standard Offshore due to comfort of the rubber and buckle (and the more wider tapered ends). importr
I've often wondered about wether I'd buy this for fun, as its a fabulous piece of engineering, but its definately too big and clunky for me. Hope you wear it often though! and get some good use out of it
