I know these are hard to get (I once worked with a guy that owned a rep two tone with solid 14kt gold and real diamonds - checked by a jeweller but never thought to get the details from him.) Better that you get the base gen and get a jeweller to customize for you. Gen watches with precious metals and diamonds are way overpriced IMO. ubiquitous Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 I had one of the old TW Best pieces- Supposed to be 14k gold on the gold bits. Swiss 2892 skeletonized movement transplanted... It was a fun watch, but a bit too small. Plus, the gold just wasn't me... The original dial was a gold-ish tone color with small little 'diamonds' on the markers and dauphane hands.
