looking for best pam 127....is this it?

Never purchased a rep watch before, but have had many gens. I've decided gen is simply not worth the 5000% markup.

Anyways, I'm looking for the best 127 rep out there. I think I've narrowed it down to trustytime's 127. On his website, you can get 50M water resistance tested, and the entire movement overhauled and re lubed for 120 bucks. Thoughts? Open to suggestions as I'm totally new to this. Thanks!

I know I'm going to get a nice strap, so I don't care about that. Can I expect to get 4-5 years of reliable service out of the above?

Personally I would rather go for an EL Fiddy or if I couldnt find one go for the DSN 217 Ultimate.

I wouldnt bother with Andrew's extra work myself mate. I would rather get it to another watchmaker rather than use a dealer.

Believe you can get one with tall H3 cannon set as well elsewhere. Keep an eye on the forum for one modded with H3 pin and superlume.

Don't ever buy waterproofing or servicing from the dealers. Local watchsmith or one on the boards for that stuff.

Just like A gen, the good reps can last a lifetime with proper care and servicing.

Get CP fixed from the dealer, but not WR.
