luky0711
Hi! This question may have been asked before but I used the search function and didn't find anything. My question: Does an Eddie Lee CG fit on an ultimate fiddy case? Many thanks Chris
PeteM
Cetainly the times I have done it, the CG needs modding as the crown wont fully extend to set time. But as as for fitting on the case generally yes it will. Sometimes though you can see too much of the base of the CG where it attaches to case. luky0711
Thanks for your answer Pete! I can't wait to get your EL case . I hope I'll be able to swap the parts (movement, crystal, etc.) without accident. Not like yesterday when I tried to fix the worn out CG-thread on my new fiddy.... But I learned something new: Never use the tools you normally use for your tractor to repair/mod your watch .

luky0711
oh my... erm.... :| I didn't use a sledgehammer. A thread on the case (where the CG sits) was worn out (new watch btw!) and so I cut a new thread. When I then drilled a fitting hole on the CG I used a tiny little to much force and drilled all the way through (= no hold for the screw head anymore). I think I just need a smaller bench drill. Oh, sorry to hear that the case had a worn out thread... I suppose it's the Fiddy I sold to you you're talking about? I didn't even take of the CG off once, so this is exactly how it came from PT... luky0711
Oh, sorry to hear that the case had a worn out thread... Don't worry. No problem at all. There's no business like rep business. I'm loving it . I'm collecting oldtimer tractors so I'm used to tinker around . All I need are the right tools. I just ordered the watch repair set from one of the trusted dealers here.
