Stage 2: Will be to convert the spring bar between the lugs to a fixed bar. I'll add some images when this work is completed but I cant start this part yet until the Donerix strap arrives.... so Donerix, if you are reading...get a move on... _________________________ Below: Soldered the lugs and re-shaped the edges ...time to solder the crown tube area Below: Re-shaped the pillow case edges Below: The spring bar has to go, this will be replaced by a fixed bar. Below: Next the crown thread area needs to be solder filled Below: Starting to take shape Below: The join is still visable... I could make it invisible but I think a tiny amount of re-work should be seen... Below: Crown in place and it has to be a flush fit all round.
