boneventura
Hi, I bougt a submariner no date last year, and I really like it. As I am no expert on rolex watches, I was wondering how good a copy it is. Here are some pictures. can anyone tell me how close (or not) it is to the genuine? I bougt it at TR Time and they said it has a Swiss ETA movement. Can't tell for sure though, as I don't know how to tell the diffrence between a swiss eta and an asian one. Thanks for your trouble! Justasgood
Should not have a solid endlink bracelet, bad crown and the lugholes are too close to the top of the lug. 14060 should heave a sapphire crystal not acrylic. Smaller pics would help.
slimpickens II
its not too bad, but really need smaller pics. Ive got a 14060 GEN the pearl is wrong for sure and looks like crown, but not bad. What did you pay for it? Only way to check movement if you've never had a clone or gen eta, is to crack the back
boneventura
How can you tell that it's not sapphire? This is the add: http://www.trtime.com/rolex-submariner-no-date-ss-black-swiss-eta-p-2657.html I paid a little less then the current price. Here are the smaller pictures. Thnx. Cats
Agree with Justasgood and the rehaut looks wokky to me. For the money it's not bad but certainly not close to the GEN. Carpe Diem Cats
stilty
are you able to measure the diameter of the crystal? Should be 28.6mm if close to gen.
boneventura
Ok, thanks for all the replies, but could you also tell me what is wrong with the rehaut, the crown and the pearl? Crystal is 30.6 mm so that't clearly too big.

From the pictures originally, it looked domed. But now I see it is flat. BTW, the watch in trusty's pic isn't the same as your's. Notice the End Links and the lugholes are better placed.
