redwatch
After the "Show us your favorite PAM" thread, I was informed by a valued member that there were some simple and significant mods that could be done to my PAM 112h. Primarily changing the crown to a thicker one, and also adding a different CG. After searching around for a bit, I found Oncyte had a crown for sale as well as a Torobravo CG. I posted pics of the CG and got some good tips on how to modify it. Basically for the CG, I filed down the inside of the arm so that it couldn't be seen on the inside. Also, flattened the pin as well as polished it up. While the CG lever was removed, I re-brushed it and the CG. Let me know what you think? Here's what it looked like before: Here it is with the TB CG and new crown:

vlydog
Stunning S! Is TB on this forum? Crown?
redwatch
Stunning S! Is TB on this forum? Crown? I actually don't know much about Torobravo and the crown came from Oncyte. Not sure where he sourced it from. I think TB is on Repgeek, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the comments guys!

RepSensei
Really a big improvement. Do you know what kind of crown that is? I can't swear to it, but it looks like it has even less bevel than my T-48. Well done. The CG also looks great. I didn't know TB had those. You should be a happy camper. OT, have you seen the 111h dial TB said the cartel was going to be offering sometime this year? Couldn't tell anything about texture, but everything else looked amazing. RepSensei
Back at ya from the flipside Tanya, is that a gen? If not, based on the 6, is it an LH?

I saw a couple of pics on RG for the new dials, but not enough to decide it they are much better. The 6 looks better for a sandwich dial, which is a nice improvement. If they look good enough, I will wait for the new dials before I upgrade the dial. Definitely a happy camper!!!

redwatch
Thanks R! What was the history of this one again? I can't remember all the folks who have owned this watch! @Tanya - saw your 219 earlier. Looks awesome!
tanya
Tanya, is that a gen? If not, based on the 6, is it an LH? It's a super Build with DSN's newest best case, perfect AR, a modded LH dial with a very fine matte spray, Modded LH Destro CG (snug as a bug and snaps tight exactly like my gens), better hands I think, LH 219 caseback and a swiss movement Very very pleased on a treated Mario Paci!
