ofgortens Posted March 19, 2010 Report Share Posted March 19, 2010 I have an ETA 2824-2 movement in my rolex milgauss GV rep and it works great, however, the watch has begun to not wind on it's own. I can manual wind the piece fine and it will work for the time period, but does not automatically wind. Thinking this could just be the rotor seized up? 14060 or 16610? Posted March 26, 2010 Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 Doubt it has seized. More likely the auto winding mechanism is not engaging somehow. You will need to remove the caseback to take a closer look. Move the rotor manually and observe if the mainspring barrel turns. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
