bennyalvarez Posted March 20, 2010 Report Share Posted March 20, 2010 Hi I've just noticed that the thread seems to have stripped on the crown of an Omega Planet Ocean I have. When I push the crown back after altering time/date the crown won't seem to catch the thread to screww it back completely so I can only assume that the thread ahs stripped. Toadtorrent Posted March 20, 2010 Report Share Posted March 20, 2010 This unfortunately is a problem with the Omega reps. It has something to do with the thread pitch of the tube/crown. You should get a gen crown and tube and replace the existing rep ones. In the UK...don't know...but Francisco is in Spain and Domi I believe is in Germany so either should not be an issue shipped within the EU. I think I will try to purchase the necessary parts and find someone local to Install them. It's really to bad about these crown Issues. Cheers BA Domi is Bricciola on here but has a subForum on RG and same with Francisco, just PM them. Though Francisco isnt back for a few days yet and Domi dont speak much english so keep it short and to the point.
