Franken UPO

Well...

My franken UPO is done...just wondering your thougths on the Gen rubber strap...is it worth getting? I'm assuming fitment is fine? Will the spring bars still be slightly bent like on the rep rubber?

cant say much about if the gen is worth, but i think the SB will also slightly bend like on the rep, cause you dont change the lugsize or better said the drilled holes in there the SB are sitting, or not

I wouldn't bother. The OEM is a little darker but only noticeable if you have 2 side by side. Even the AD where I bought my PO told me to get the PO with bracelet and buy the aftermarket rubber.

There is slightly less stand-off near the lugs for the gen which is slightly

softer. I notice it on my 6.5 inch wrist, it may less noticeable for someone with a more

manly wrist.

Springs will probably bend, visually...not worth it, Interesting that the Gen is less stand-offish at the lugs...all things to consider!

I used the rep rubber strap on my UPO with gen spring bars. The spring bars did not bend. Don't get me wrong it was a PITA to get it on but it keeps the rubber tight to the case.

I have gen springbars with the gen rubber and don't notice any spring bar bend/strap standoff at all.
