cougaree
Hi there, I have to BCE here with A7750 movement. Both BCE are v2. The movements are serviced by different watchmakers. I've noticed that if I start the chronograph, on both watch, the large second hand will have a short momentary pause as the minute register advance. Is it normal? I don't believe I'm seeing this on my Skyland. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
maxman
I have not noticed this type of behavior In any of my chronographs. I have heard of It but no pause In any of mine. It does not sound like a big deal to me, good luck Mike
bwhitesox
You mean it pauses or skips a tiny bit as it just completes a cycle, If so this is normal on the Asian 7750's
Bike Mike
If it pauses, there could be too much pressure on the "spring" that engages the transfer gear, to move the minute sub dial hand. The "spring" I am refering to, is a little metal piece that is on the 60s chrono wheel.
cougaree
Thanks for everyone's response! Much appreciate it! Mine pauses then skips a little bit around 58 second mark. Will it mess up the chronograph timing? Thanks again!
14060 or 16610?
Agree with Bike Mike, the spring for the 30-minute wheel may need to be backed off. But it's also possible the 30-minute wheel is binding or not spinning as it should. Not likely though, if the movement has been serviced. Yes, if there is a slight pause (as the spring is overcome) it will obviously throw timing off by a fraction of a second. Not a huge deal, but I'm sure it would bug some individuals. cougaree
What's weird about it though, my Skyland with A7750 does not have this problem, but the A7750 in both of my BCE does.
14060 or 16610?
That's just random coincidence. The basic A7750s are essentially the same, especially in those 2 watches.
