Planet Ocean bracelet clasp lost pin

Hi

Last night when i took my watch of the bracelet almost fell apart.

The middle joint of the clasp (when it is open) lost a pin (one of two so it still holds).

yes those bracelets can make one crazy sometimes....and loose screws too....I know the feeling....I decided to simply buy a genuine strap instead

Hmmmm... Looks like a press fit 'rivet' head pin. Not sure that I have anything that will work, but I will check!

Wish I had my old clasp still... I'd just give it to you...

You just need to replace the clasp.

My first major Fu up here at RWG was dealing with this evil sob of a bracelet I have a ss bracelet on my PO now and thats where It will remain until it rots off.

Any watchsmith worth his salt will do a 'lifetime fix' on this for a couple of bucks by replacing that push fit with a solid straight pin peaned over to a dome head.

Just made another order (for the IWC 3717) with the dealer that provided this watch, and she will send a new pin so i can fix this bracelet.

...also ordered the rubber strap so i can put the SS bracelet to rest for awhile.
