rkdk Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 So i decided to get the gen 009bL i was offered, and its absolutely stunning. The pvd coating is so light compared to my reps, and i decided to take some pics. Check it out. PS: Rumour has it, that only 3% of the 009s were produced with the L dial, so i might just have been really lucky. Could be an urban myth though. In the pics an older 009 from davidsen, and a custom 004 job. Supposedly the 004 was pvd coated in the same factory as the original pvds, but comparing to gen, it doesnt seem likely check it out :-) davidsen 009 on the left and custom 004 on the right 0909 crowns
babola Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Hmm, I wonder what happened to the rest of our replies from yesterday...?!

You have no idea how lucky it is that that is all we lost. Cheers to T for catching the database crash as soon as he did and getting it back up so quickly. In any case, congrats on the 9B. I am very jealous. Hopefully I will have a couple of PVD franken projects to show folks which will be the best frankens to date but there is never anything as good as a gen.
