BP 5002

i'm looking at getting the iwc bp 5002, the iwc TG or the TG LTD ED with dual chrono as my first rep watch any problems with these watches so far? i've heard that the screw in crown for the bp might be a problem as the threading wears out over time, sometime in weeks is that true?

hi, just go for the classic, non-working PR, 5002 or 5004 with date wheel and hand fix which most dealers seem to stock now these days.

Joshua's is very good at sourcing parts, he sourced a new crown for me when my threading went South.. I haven't had problems with it since.. realistically I would consider the 3717 before the TG..I have the TG (later version) and I like it.. but the 3717 is a must get ..imo..
