oswald
This is one of the easiest mods and it really changes the look quite a bit plus makes the watch more durable. I've also had the bent up rep bars come loose on me. These dudea aint going nowhere. This is one of my favorite watches. I think all it needs now is a new crystal. I'm looking for pics now... oswald
Very nice!! 1016? Throw a Tropic 22 on that and I'd call it done I was thinking about making one. Are the rolex crystals hollow on the back or are they just one solid thickness? By the way Ubi, have you acquired a set of calipers yet? Thanks for the kind words! ubiquitous
J- Rolex crystals are cupped- Hollowed back with a lip that seats to the case: Still haven't obtained any calipers... Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to make it to the hardware store. I may just order some online...
oswald
Hmmm... Is the lip on the outside diameter? I still haven't taken my sub crystal off. I'm checking out an old explorer case I have.
