calling all DSSD experts - please chime in

This is an interesting twist.

I got my DSSD from Trevortime. Great watch!!! (pictures to follow shortly)

The quality of the watch is very good.

I had a Gen Sub and sold it a couple years ago because it was too small now.

I wanted to see if I would like the DSSD specifically. I recently purchased another watch that I loved in the case. Put in on my wrist and it does nothing for me. Before I invest $9000.00 in a Gen 116660 I wanted to see if I liked the watch.

Here comes the twist. The rep watch is very good! I am sure other people love their DSSD. I however am not in love with the Deep Sea Sea Dweller. I learned along time ago if it does not sing to you, don't buy it.

I just saved myself several thousand dollars.

Rolex does not put any AR coating on their tool watches. The GMT II has a small spot of AR coating under the cyclops but that's all. If you want to AR your DSSD crystal that's up to you.

i had my dssd cheif ar'd and fully serviced by The Zigmeister. it will be in my hands on sunday along with seven others watches ... can't wait!

almost exactly the same.. but trevor's is about $150 less, and also has better (NOT MORE ACCURATE) "OGEV" engraving

I'm guessing king's is probably more accurate.. But i love the every so slightly bolder look of trevor's version.. I'm not sure which is actually more accurate
