gpuck
Hey Guys, I am going to the Bahama's in October and was wondering if there were any places there or dealers that have decent reps for sale. Any advice would be appreciated. Gpuck

DWSmoot
Let us know what you find out. I am going to Nassau in November and was just wandering the same thing last night. I did find a lace in Nassua in July that had "gen" (?) Rolex subs for $3400... wheaton26
hi guys, there is not much in nassau for reps. one place that used to carry them has stopped. the last time i was in and asked about them, they said they were going to stop selling the rep watches but they still had a few. the lady brought me out 4 rolex reps from the back. i really don't know what to look for in rolex so i wasn't interested and it didn't sound like much of a deal ... $100 each or something? anyway feel free to ask again. the name of the place is athena. it is actually a very good greek cafe upstairs and they have a shop downstairs with jewellery and handbags etc. you will also find maybe one or two other shops that carry reps but you really have to look for them. sometimes they have them and sometimes they don't. now if you are looking for rep handbags ... that is a different story! i can't guarantee how good the quality will be but they have all of the big names including louis vuitton, gucci, prada, coach, kate spade etc. if you want to try on some nice genuine watches, go to john bull. there is one right downtown as well as atlantis. they carry pretty much everything including panerai. don't feel bad about wearing your panerai reps in either ... the people are clueless. also, if by chance you are interested in buying a genuine. this is the place! there is no duty on watches therefor the prices are much better here than anywhere else. please feel free to pm me if you have any further questions or concerns. take care and have a great trip. John Bull on Bay Street is the place to deal. (They wont deal as much at paradise island.) I was there in December 2005 and purchased a gen PAM183H for $2600 cash with boxes/papers etc. Listed tag was $3000. I was also offered a nice 16613 listed for $6500 for $1800 with my 16710 as on the spot trade.. Didnt do that thou as I love my gen 16710. There are reps to be found in the market by Senor Frog's (restaurant) but they are all terrible and cheap. have fun and happy shopping....

Day of departure; Get out of the water and put on some clothes. Have a very nice holliday
frankt
Conch and fresh local fish are the only worthwhile buys in the Bahamas...EVERYTHING else is taxed into oblivion...If you ain't going diving...stay in Miami!!!!...The natives are friendlier there....And they have South Beach!!! If it was an error then it was an error. Im looking at it right now.i'd like to see that receipt! the only explanation is that you got a used watch (which i don't think they sell) or like you said, it was an error. if so ... good buy. that's almost $2000 off the retail price. anyway, i'm not trying to make any enemies here ... just sounds too good to be true! all the best.
