Waiting for a Clark top-hat, CG shaved, wabi to case and bezel completed.

The finall thing to solve is to find a better crown, the one that comes on the watch is little too fat.

So I'm trying to source a better AM, Any tips were I can find one?

Could the crown in this AD be an alternative for my 1680? (Dont know what crown WM9 uses on their YM)

I agree, I normally try and use rep parts. The main exception being crowns.

There is no comparison between a rep crown and a gen crown in terms of appearance, quality, smoothness of operation and watertightness.

I've read somewhere on this board that Cousin's tube is not much better than rep in quality. I'd probably get one from Ofrei, eWatchparts or Yuki

This hasn't really been my experience. I have used about 20 so far and have always been impressed with the quality, I may have been lucky.

Well, I think it's safe to say that with 20 tube installs luck has nothing to do with it. Thanks for the info.
