Peter52
Hey guys, since yesterday i'm the proud owner of a Graham chronofighter oversice scarab. Nice watch, the only thing that bothers me is that the chrono lever is a little bit wobbly i read in the forum that there is an easy fix for this by adding a washer to the lever or so. But i can't find a tutorial on this. Help is much appreciated, thanks
unkul
My advice would be to 1. get some dental floss or ribbon as you would use when wrapping a gift. 2. Slice the ribbon really thin so its the thickness of fuse wire 3. Work this upto the pivot hinge of the lever (its tricky but pliers and patience and a fair length of ribbin will work) 4. Once in position twist as you would when sealing a sandwich bag so the ribbon gets really tight under the lever (lever should not be wobbly now) 5. Trim away excess using a craft knife (carefully) 7. Roberts your mothers brother Worked for me like a charm.
Bike Mike
For my Grahams, I did a little more robust fix then using dental floss. I removed the lever and put 3 small dabs of JB Weld on the inside of the lower portion of the lever and let dry. Once dried I filled the JB weld down to the proper thickness to get a perfect fit! Reinstalled the lever and never looked back. Did this on a couple of my Pams that had the dental floss treatment. Little time consuming but I feel it works much better! Please post pics of your Scarab as I am about to order one I think!
