Snrubb Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 I think this is a keeper (a real keeper, not the regular kind) The tritium still glows!
StormTooper4 Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 Great Photos of super watch, nice strap choice as well, never seen that combo on a 24 seems to work , is it OEM?
OSRep Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 Definitely very beautiful! Those bezel dots just need to be shortened down slightly and this will be perfect!
coolfire Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Looks pretty damn sweet from your pics!
Watchmeister Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 Looks great. I do have to second filing down the 5 minute markers on the bezel if it is possible. But it does look great as it is.
eddiemonster Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 To be perfect, you need to somehow get a 6mm cyclops on there. I reckon the easiest way would be to find a older cartel Ultimate 199 which had the incorrect 6mm cyclops (the cartels have since updated to correct 7mm) and do a swap, then both pieces will be correct and you can easily resell the 199 w/ the correct 7mm cyclops. Just not sure if Submersible crysals are interchangeable b/w DSN case & cartel case?
w0lf Posted August 16, 2010 Report Posted August 16, 2010 David confirmed that new crystals with 6mm cyclops are coming in 2 months.
babola Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Great result in the end mate :-) On another note, funny how no one commented yet on the fact the crown 'sits' quite low on the case side profile. The movement is placed a little lower inside the case, compared to old cartel and genuine PAM24. I'm sure there were genuine reasons David had to resort to this. Could you post a case crown-side shot if possible, please? I may be just imagining things... That aside, it's a great watch altogether, enjoy!
ccjoey09 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 I just ordered mine a couple days ago. wish I had the gen dial to go with it!
