Lobster
Hi guys, I have a pam with a strong (albeit single coating) purplish AR that is far from accurate unfortunately. Please could someone advise of a modder in the UK or EU who could help remove it? I'd be absolutely shocking at this. Thanks in advance
freddy333
If the coating is external, try cleaning the lens with ammonia (or Windex, which usually contains ammonia). Depending on the type of AR, ammonia will often remove it. If the AR is internal, you will need to remove the movement 1st.
Lobster
thanks Freddy, I will try the procedure assuming the AR is external. Hopefully it is. If internal, I will try and be a watch repairer for the day
