TeeJay
Just tried loading some stuff onto a Shuffle, but it seems determined to simply list everything in alphabetical order of the artist, rather than the pre-arranged list... Any way of avoiding this, or is that just the nature of the Shuffle?
redwatch
Which version is it? The newest one with Voiceover has a method for selecting the playlist, but I will have to consult my manual.
Ronin
I have a first Gen Shuffle "Pack of Gum" version. Mine plays in the correct order -or- randomly based on switch position. Your problem could be caused by an error in the "Playlist you are filling from". (Caused by the shuffle button in iTunes -or- by sorting the playlist previously.) Try this: 1.) Make a new playlist. 2.) MAKE SURE "SHUFFLE" icon is OFF in iTunes 3.) Drag the songs you want over - IN THE ORDER YOU WANT THEM 4.) Make sure NOT to "Sort" the playlist at any time. 5.) FILL iPod "FROM NEW PLAYLIST

The newest one with Voiceover has a method for selecting the playlist, but I will have to consult my manual. I believe it's a version 2, about an inch square with a round control interface, it doesn't have voiceover. I have a first Gen Shuffle "Pack of Gum" version.
