gioarmani Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Can you buy just the magnifier (cyclops eye) on the crystal rather than the crystal with one already on it? On my swissexpert.net sub it almost seems like it's just a hair short of the correct size/magnification. Anyone know where to buy them & the proper way to deinstall & reinstall them? Do they come with ready-to-go adhesive? Thanks

KB Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 Ok, yes you can buy just the cyclops (can't remember where) however all of our watch modders agree that for the effort it takes to get the old one off and then the new one correctly alined etc etc it is far better to just buy the crystal with the cyclops attached. gioarmani Posted September 25, 2006 Author Report Posted September 25, 2006 My 16610. If I buy another crystal, it won't have the etched crown @ 6 though. If they'll let me, I guess I could buy a spare crystal off the dealer...
sssurfer Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 I am no expert in R0lex, so I may be wrong, but did you already check Ofrei?
supermanx Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 You can source replacement crystals at a few places, but you are correct that the replacements will not have an etched crown unless you purchase it from a rep dealer.
