RYM Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 Some time ago i buy two Tudors The first is the Tudor Cal.2462 Ref. 7966 , the first question would be if I could use this caliber for a Tudor submariner.? and The second is about the prince Tudor oysterdate 34 ref.7914 I can`t found information of this watch if anyone knows share please. The 7914 looks like it has a 390 movement- that's good news The 2462 is an older eta movt. may or may not work in an older Tudor sub- Yuki may have built one like that, but it wasn't correct. chiman12 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 The 2462 you could use on a 7016 or a 7021 project. Take out the date wheel for a 7016 or leave it in for the 7021. In addition, the 24XX is my choice for vintage non-date rollie projects, because it has the proper beat rate. All you really need is an ETA adapter.
