watcher
I have now got back from hols and fitted my gen caseback that I ordered from Ofrei 5 weeks ago! It fits perfectly guys! It is much better finshed and engraved which you do not really notice until a side by side comparison is made! The seahorse is far superior though with much more crisp detailing than the rep which is flatter too. It as you will see in the picture comes with the globe engraved too. Sorry about the pics but I'm rushing around at the moment but thought I would post quickly as there is a gen back on EBay for one of you to buy if desired. Rep is on the right but I'm sure you can tell anyway!

jac643
Thanks for taking the risk. I'm really glad it fits as I have a gen case back on order from Ofrei. Now if we could only easily do something about that *** pearl.
redwatch
Now if we could only easily do something about that *** pearl. Gen Insert?
jac643
From what I read on this and other forums, replacing the rep bezel with a gen is an extremely difficult mod and one that I, for one, would not attempt. If you have any other suggestions...
watcher
A gen bezel will not fit without making up the thickness between the gen bezel and the case. Not impossible but difficult. I made the decision to bond the complete gen bezel assembly into position as I cared more about looks than a functional bezel! chris714n
Hey, have you had it pressure tested yet? I have the gen caseback on mine and it seems to fit perfectly but haven't checked for leaks yet.
