However I now have a problem I thought I wanted the 45 but am starting to sway to a 42. I wanted to ask the opinion of people on the forum what they feel is a better watch and closer to the Gen between the 45 and 42 is it possible to fit Gen parts to both these watch that Silix has obviously I know the omega has happy feet and the text is out on the dates I also think on the 45 the date is a little too far to the left. Views and very welcome and also experience of buying the same watch from Silix and a view on the watch received would be good.

andreww Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Yeah, the current 42mm model (4th generation) is a great base for mods, but certainly far from ultimate out of the box.

Jkay Posted October 1, 2010 Report Posted October 1, 2010 maxman - he was correcting the OP ... there is no 42mm UPO. UPO refers only to the 45mm version. Yes you can buy a 42mm Planet Ocean but it's not a UPO. Those only come in 45mm.
