Anyone Looking For A V23?

V23 on eBay.

This would be a good candidate for a DW swap (if you have the version with the mystery movement that is). Price is about right- This is one of the lowest priced 23's I've seen in a long time...

I saw that one indeed... I would really feel sorry to take it apart... better to rip a Nivada or something... This one is a beauty. Do you have any idea which watches carry a v23 swiss. If the owner knows its a v23 and states it on the bay the prices skyrocket... Sometimes you can get lucky and find a watch that people don't know has a v23... Know of any brands? Please PM me?

Indeed- It would be a shame to tear that Roamer apart. Just wanted to post it for the price, as it's a very low entry fee for a Swiss Valjoux 23 these days!

Anyhow... I got mine from a Nivada that a very nice forum member sold to me at a fantastic price! After an overhaul, it's running great!

For me, it's the next best thing to a V72 DW

I managed to buy this one. I received the Roamer and it is fantastic as is.. I don't feel like stripping it for a DW. I will keep looking for a VJ72.

Unfortunately, a V72 won't fit the DW cases originally equipped with mystery movements without modification to the case That's why the V23 is a great 1:1 swap for these.

However... If you have a V72 case, the V72 is perfect...

Mine is the mystery movement one (should be on the way).. so the vj23 should fit. I can also order the DW VJ72 case but I will try and find a vj72 first...
