I am installing a T48 crown

Like the title says I purchased a T48 spring loaded crown for my DSN 089. I was wondering if i need a new CG or Can I use the same one. Where do i get a new one if need it.

Chances are you'll be able to keep your current CG, but may have to sand down the lever a bit, as the T48 SL crowns don't have the same deep dish as his regular ones - rather shallow actually. To test it out, after you've removed your current stem and crown, just insert the T48 (without stem attached) into the case tube and re-attach the CG to see how they fit.

Thanks. But I wanted to change it does it need to be a GEN I guess?

In that case just look in the Panerai section and do a little research, check threads with T48 in the title....
