Personally, each watch auction is a feast for watch collectors and connoisseurs. The most desirable Antiquorum Auction is about to be held on Nov.13th to 14th in Geneva. Among 643 kinds of watches which will be auctioned during that period, two special models will raise public attention, namely, Patek Philippe Ref.2499 and an antique Rolex watch owned the 20th explorer, Sir Edmund Hillary.

The rarely seen Patek Philippe Ref.2499 is an 18K rose gold chronograph with round buttons, available in 30-minute timing, perpetual calendar and moon phase. It is packed in a classic Patek Philippe box with the estimated price ranging from 800,000 to 1,200,000 francs.

Another eye-catching model goes to Rolex Ref. 6084 created in 1953. This watch is owned by Sir Edmund Hillary and is of great sense. It accompanied this outstanding man to climb up the Mount Qomolangma. From 1955 to 1958, this outstanding man was wearing this horological item for his South Pole Exploration. Thus, this watch is of great historical meaning. The case-back is engraved with “Sir E. Hillary. The estimated price ranges from 10,000 to 20,000 francs.

Are you ready for both of them?
