Goochenbrau
Do the gen bezels on subs click when you turn them? I always thought they moved smoothly with no clicking at all (unlike reps). Is this correct or am I dellusional?
ubiquitous
Vintage models like the 1680 and 1665 are bi directional non-click. They operate on a washer spring. This changed with the 16800/16660 transitional models (sapphire with matte dials on the early versions), as they now had a click spring that made the bezels uni-directional. This design has carried forth through to the current 16610/16600, and is likely to continue in the next iteration (whichever ref that may be)...
