Question About Gen Bezels On Subs

Vintage models like the 1680 and 1665 are bi directional non-click. They operate on a washer spring. This changed with the 16800/16660 transitional models (sapphire with matte dials on the early versions), as they now had a click spring that made the bezels uni-directional. This design has carried forth through to the current 16610/16600, and is likely to continue in the next iteration (whichever ref that may be)...

Do the gen bezels on subs click when you turn them? I always thought they moved smoothly with no clicking at all (unlike reps). Is this correct or am I dellusional?

I have a gen 16613....turns only one way and makes a nice click....

!!!! :Jumpy:

Now here the dilemma. Do I bust my friend, or pretend I dont know?

Definitely your call...also depends on the friend....is he/she runnin' around tryin' to fool everyone...is tryin' to be a pimp.....

In my social circles...i tell everyone whether its real or not...they know its my hobby.
