They're insecure that their 'gen' will be easily viewed as a 'rep' by people.. poor schmucks.. If they're there for the image, they should just get the rep then At least there's one guy that got it right: I wouldn't worry about fakes of this too much. The finishing seems to be poor, and should be an instant tell to anyone who knows what IWC is. This fake can never match the genuine Ingenieur, as I believe the appearance of the Ingenieur itself isn't significant, in fact I'm quite disappointed with the way they executed it, but I believe the true value in this watch is the movement and engineering that went into it.
