Ronin Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Thought I would ask around these parts... Although I am not a smoker, I am in the market for a nice lighter. I know I can find reps of Dunhill, Cartier, etc, but I am open to something more common, affordable, and possibly available locally in stores. Thoughts, links, advice welcome. Thanks in advance,
FxrAndy Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I gor a cartier of Ken a few years back and still use it today, more than worth the money I also use animco a lot of the time, as reliable as a zippo but just different pretty cheep on amazon
Hip Hop Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I got a genuine Zippo matte black for £13.90 on eBay, look up seller zipsterszippos666! Dan!
ChipSlap Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Nothing beats a Zippo if you're trying to torch a Vietnamese village.
Ronin Posted December 20, 2010 Author Report Posted December 20, 2010 Great suggestions. I do have a Zippo, and think I will order a Imco since it is very inexpensive. These are lighter fluid based unfortunately. Any Butane based rec's?
Irontomkidd Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 I like the xikar pipeline... Clasic design and under $50
iceberg1459 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 http://www.paristexa...em10036546.aspx id like to hear the sound it makes, * CHING!*
Irontomkidd Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 http://www.paristexa...em10036546.aspx id like to hear the sound it makes, * CHING!* 524 Euro! I'll rep it for 250 Euro and make $100 each A Dermal tool, hot glue gun and this. Now taking orders.
donerix Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 I got this one from Trevor (don't remember the exact price, sorry ...). It works fine:
Ronin Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Posted December 21, 2010 Very nice E. Remind me again who Trevor is associated with? Watcheden seems to have dozens of Dunhill, Dupont, Cartier rep lighters.
