fp_panlvr Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 I've owned several PAM gens, but this was my first (and now only). At 40mm, it's the only one I'd wear with a bracelet. It's still my favorite wearer, but the 232 is sneaking up on it.
StormTooper4 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 That's beauty for sure and your photos are really very good. I wish they made some more 40mm reps some of the newer chronos and GMT's are cracking looking watches.
coolfire Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 +1 on the beautiful photos, of a wonderful looking watch!
Guest Sql_pl Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Great watch! First generation of reps was great too, very accurate.
w0lf Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Great watch! First generation of reps was great too, very accurate. Cosmetically the old 2005 generation of cartel reps was not bad. Good quality sapphire, nice proportional case with thin lugs, CG was quite good and the caseback was thick and engine turned on the inside. However, due to mid-case construction it was a model that was nearly impossible to waterproof. Where the normal/OEM PAM midcase and rehaut with crystal bed are one piece, the old rep had a separate midcase and separate rehaut which was basically a short section of machined tube friction fitted into the mid-case with the bezel going over it.
pabler Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 You better not sell this one! Very nice Gen!
PeteM Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Very nice mate I have never held a gen 40mm I always wanted to know what a difference the size made to the 44mm. Thanks for sharing
valerian Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Love the watch and congrats for the pictures! Great photography! Val.
Watchmeister Posted December 23, 2010 Report Posted December 23, 2010 Looks great on the bracelet. I am a fan of the older bracelets as well.
