Gen Sub Insert on the Bay

OK, so you have all talked me into going for the gen sub insert. Found one on the Bay w/out the pearl:

Obvious next question, can you put an aftermarket pearl into this? Is it worth it to do so? Can a gen pearl be sourced anywhere, or do you always have to buy it with the insert?

You need to check the tools and parts section- Bruce79 has a couple of gen inserts for $85 each- that's a price that's hard to beat.
