What are the chances of using one of these A7753's and a gen dial to make a Tricompax rep, given that I have a Breiting font datewheel for an A7750. Could I use the same datewheel, do you think? The Gen dials DW is further outboard (further away from center) then the A7750, so the 2 together would not work. You would need to use the Rep dial. Yes and no - problem with replacing A7750 with A7753 is thatA7753 is thinner then 7750, so you would have problems with crown alignment, basically case must be made to accept 7753.
