Guest Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 I had my grail rep watch on yesterday and my friend said it looked a lot smaller than his....I bought this watch because I went to the Rolex store 6 months ago when he bought it....I fell in love instantly....Now that I think about it, it does seem a little smaller.... What size is BKs Yachtmaster and what size is the current one...Is there a 2010 model that come out....?
ubiquitous Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 A 16622 should be 40mm, and a BK/WM9 YM should be the same. There is a mid-size YM (168622) that is 36mm, but that should be fairly easy to identify as it's quite a bit smaller than the full size, and it's also fitted with the 6mm crown... All things aside, I don't believe BK does one of those...

One thing I noticed is that gen Rollies tend to wear bigger than most reps. Rolex has changed the case and lugs over the past several years( more square like) also making for a bigger looking watch. They still list the Subs and GMT @ 40mm. yet they are really about 41mm. or so.

cib0rgman Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 I really doubt that they are different, I have seen here BK YM fitted with Gen crystal and insert if there a different in size those gen parts will not be able to fit.
