cougaree
Guys, I think the watch has a separated rotor problem, which is an easy fix. However the caseback is so tight that I can't open it with my watch ball nor the watch case opener (didn't try too hard, afraid to scratch the ace more). Any thoughts on how to open it? It seems to me I need one of those Breitling caseback dies (they are spendy!!!). Thanks for your help!
wimpie007
What i always do is remove the bracelet Put double sided tape or duct tape(sticky side up and tape the edged so it sticks to the surface) on the table or wall so the surface is flat Put the case back on it and push on the watch quite hard and rotate
boomer775
I've had luck with gorilla tape if the duct tape approach doesn't work. If you get the really strong hold duct tape you should be good though..,
cougaree
Thank you for the advice! I tried the duck tape today, no success. I turned so hard even ripped the tape. Tomorrow I will get gorilla tape.
Kerbus
If all else fails, you'll need to buy a hand held case opener die for Breitling. They're about $20 to $30 so.
cougaree
They are? That would be great! But the ones I have seen are a lot of $$. Where should I get it for $20-30? Thanks!
