Rolex Ref: 6508

I have been looking into the Rolex 6508 but I am having a hard time finding any info on it. I have read that it is similar to the 6538 but have also seen that it is the 5508? Can someone please let me know if this is a big crown sub model?

The 6508 is an Oyster Perpetual. Apparently there is a mis-print referring to it as a Submariner.

Submariner models are 6200, 6204, 6205, 6536, 6536-1, 6538, 6538A, 5508, 5510, 5512, 5513, etc.

6538 and 5510 are big crown subs.
