kingkitesurf Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 Does anybody now if the Asian 7750B1 as Andrew advertises them (in Breitlings for example) are the new fast beat 28.800 movement or the old style lower beat Asians. The new one is supposed to be much more reliable and a higher beat (according to The Zigmeister's post). Please advise.
fitmic Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 I am in no way qualified to give you the answer, but I think the b1 is "the new" one.
dadog13 Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 yep, the b1 should be the new one - 28.800
Rikske Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Somewhere The Zigmeister wrote that he has serviced dozens of so called 7750 , 7750b and 7750b1 and that he could not notice obvious (quality) differences between these movements . Therefor the definition and differences between these type of movements remain a mistery. Different dealers apparently do not use the same definition either. The only clear description for the better new movement to me sounds : "asia 7750 28800 bph" like Joshua advertises it. It would be great if someone could explain the difference between 7750 , 7750b and 7750b1.
Rikske Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Andrew advertises his BSW0018A (TT Navi ) as "new asia 7750 28800 "bph. Therefore I think his 7750b1 is somthing else. Perhaps Andrew would be so kind to clarify one and the other for everyone here. Thanks.
andreww Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 A member over at RWI just received a Navi from Andrew that was advertised as the 7750b1 28,800, but on inspection it is actually the older version.
