Prsist
I either have a bad movt or a minute hand that likes to get stuck. I successfully removed the movt. I used a screwdriver to try and press the hand down but I don't think it worked. Not having the correct tools I think I will bring the watch to a local watch smith and see if he can get the hand down a little. I also was able to remove the rotor and apply a little grease to quiet her down. I am excited I was able to remove the movt and attempt the repair myself. It might not seem like much to most here but for my first attempt It went well. I DIDN'T DESTROY OR BREAK ANYTHING! That in itself is a success in anyones book. I successfully assembled everything back together (making sure the dial was correctly aligned in the process). It was an exercise that gives me confidence attempting more repairs and mods. I just need to acquire the proper tools for the job.
