Guest zeleni kukuruz
Some nice info i found, new to me but probebly old to you guys The date on the Valjoux 7734 can be changed by moving the hands forward past midnight until the date changes, then moving the hands backward past 10 PM, then moving forward again past midnight until the date changes again, etc. This is a semi-quickset mechanism. If you have been spinning the hands forward through 24 hours for 10 days worth of date changes then you have been putting a lot of wear on the cannon pinion/lubrication of the watch. If the cannon pinion is now too tight to easily set the time then you will need to get the watch serviced to correct this problem. Trying to set the time when the cannon pinion is too tight might break teeth on the minute wheel.
