Getting a watch repaired or overhauled

Question for everybody! Not sure if this is the right place for this. But, Does anybody know of a place in Boston/ surrounding area that does overhauls/repairs/reconditioning services on our rep watches... either that or somebody on the forum that would send out to do this service? I already messaged Zimeister and he doesn't want to do this kind of work. Help!

Just curious, what kind of watch and what movement are we talking about?

One thing to note. Understand the known issues of any asian made movement. I recently had one overhauled and cleaned only to find out that there an issue with datewheel slippage.

nieap - You should be more specific as to the watch model & type of work you need done.

For starters, check the Boston telephone book for 'watch repair' or 'watch & clock repair'. Then, phone a few watchmakers & ask if they work on rep watches. Especially, in a slow economy, they may be eager to take in new work, even if they do not normally accept reps.
