pampam
Now this seems dumb. Was trying to swap a new crown into a Datejust with an ETA 2836. Now I can't seem to get the stem back in to lock into the movement. I assumed that it will just snap in once it was pushed into the ETA movement but that does not seem to work. Any ideas to help? Jkay
If you remove the crown and stem improperly (very very easy to do) you will upset the keyless machinery. It is easy to fix but the watch does need to be taken apart.

plaifender
You probably messed the Keyless works as Jkay said. Quite sensitive, but it should be fine. You need to remove dial and several pieces to get access to the keyless works. You might have pushed a little to hard. Good luck!
