kingkitesurf
Is the ETA stem reusable when replacing the crown for a gen one on a MBW 1665. I read on the forum here that the stem thread is the same (10) but what about the lenght. Any good tips on how to get it out without specific tools and if needed where to buy the correct (longer or shorter) one? I am looking for experienced opinions. Thanks. slickdick
you have good chance it wil be reusable. If too long you can cut off, or you can buy stem extenders to make it longer. or you can buy other stems, they are not expansive. btw je kan het heel makkelijk testen. je kan het makkelijk knippen met een knijptang met schuine bek. Logan
Use a pin vice to remove the old one and you'll almost always be able to re-use it. You can get cheap pin vices at most electronics stores if you don't want to buy an expensive watchmakers one.
