ubiquitous
Okay... So, of those of you who have spent $150+ on a new strap... How many of you were hesitant to wear it when you first got it? I know I was reluctant to put any bends or creases in the leather when I rec'd my NOS Pre-V... If it were already used, then it would be different.
Finepics
Soon as I got my vintage strap I was bending and twisting it to crease it up more!!
Estaban
I can't wait to get my straps a little beat up. With so many straps, it's hard to get a good patina going. The only strap I was worried about scarring was my Greg Stevens. Too soft for me. Great looking, but delicate. Sold it after a couple of days. If you want a strap that is tough and develops a great patina, get a Woj. Many choices for $80.

But you're going for that vintage look anyways, though! That strap on your 3646 project does look amazing!! I can't wait to get my straps a little beat up. vlaletom
I don't mind spending 150$ 200$ for a great straps on a reps i wear a lot. The combo just add so much credibility to the reps. Here in paris we have a shop called "atelier du bracelet parisien". when you go to the shop you can choose your lather or reptile, ask for coloration shape etc .. and the make it for you. An aligator strap for a PAM is around 200$, which i find okey for a custom order... But dont go there with a pam rep as the owner is a paneresti
Chronus
I was thinking of getting a BOB strap. Are the Vertigo straps good value, better than the Sportivo? Vertigo straps are good. I haven't tried the Sportivo so I can't say. Maybe someone else knows?
