redwatch Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Hello, I have a co-worker who brought me a Lucerne watch with a Brevet 314705 manual movement. It winds up, but stops at a certain point and at no time does the main spring start to release tension. The balance assembly will turn if you give it a little push, but only a couple of times and then ceases up. Any thoughts from the experts? Well I kind of figured that one out already Just wondering if this is something I might be able to tackle on my own? I don't think my co-worker is that concerned about it.
