prdubis Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Hi mates and sorry to post this topic here, but I didn't know where to post it. If admins think it will be better in another section, so please move it. I am not a game station geek, but I own a Xbox 360 with a modded firmware (Xecuter 1.5 or something like that). I did not use it for a long time, but today I decided to power it up and play. I got a popup window telling my xbox was banned from Xbox Live (I guess because of the modded firmware...). I am not aware of latest Xbox 360 mods but I am pretty sure our members are. Any solution? Thank you for your help!
deniz21 Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 hey i dont think that there is any solution when you get banned once, so i would say you will never able to play online with that console i also have a modded one, but i never play online so i dont care
prdubis Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Thank you for your answer and I fear you're right! I don't play online either but being banned cancel the updates, TV service, media player and games can't be installed on the HD anymore... mastrmindalliance Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Yes, you need a new console for live. Only the console is banned, not the user. You can now upgrade the FW mod on your old one for the new disc type and other mod bonuses
prdubis Posted April 4, 2011 Author Report Posted April 4, 2011 Thanks! Do you know If I can upgrade the FW without opening the xbox? Sent from my GT-P1000 using Tapatalk
