It's far from being as popular as PO, so I haven't seen any actual project like that, and I think it's a gorgeous watch, and with gen dial and hands and chief's AR it would be awesome ;-) on some brown Hirsch modena strap... cougar1 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Share Posted April 24, 2011 Keep us updated on this project please, very interested to hear that these can be frankened, didn't realise they could be, but should've known the 2500 cal is based on the 2892. What sort of prices are we looking at? Of course the simple black dial version seems to be only available in 2824 from the dealers and not 2892 as the other variations are. The rep is quite a decent copy in itself, of course they messed up the omega logo and the happy feet....couldn't have it any other way with the factories! Also can I ask where are you sourcing the parts from (difficult even to find part nos) as ofrei has nothing as far as my quick look can see and neither do cousinsuk.
